My name is Johnny Makkar. Most of my free time is spent online learning as much as I can about marketing and technology. I also enjoy reading business books and magazines. I setup this blog to expand on my knowledge, share and summarize interesting information, and occasionally give book reviews.

I started working when I was 14 years old and have gotten a broad range of experience since then including many years working in retail. My junior year of college was when I entered the corporate world and worked at a major watch company for 2 years. After graduating, I was as an analyst for a year before deciding I wanted to pursue a different career path. I’m now searching for a role that focuses on digital marketing.

Some of the highlights since I started this blog have been getting linked to by Engadget, Gizmodo, and when I was asked to write a guest post for Pistachio’s TouchBase blog. Several of my posts have also been mentioned by well-known bloggers such as @chrisbrogan, @mashable, and @problogger. I only post new content when I have a desire to share something worthwhile to increase my chances of expanding this paragraph.
